So, I thought I would let you know how 3D Smudgie Co got started. It originally was a home school project for me and my sisters. I made crochet smudgies,

my older sister did the packaging, and my younger sister did marketing (meaning she gave them away to people). For anyone who doesn't know, Smudgies are dish scrubbies that are safe for any pan or surface, and are able to scrub the toughest messes.
Now about the name, at the time we started my younger sister could not say scrubbie. She always said smudgie so it just stuck, and the 3D is because all of us three sister's names start with the letter D. That is how it started and it kind of just grew from there and my sisters moved on to different interests. But I kept up and started selling them to my family and close friends. It soon became my passion, I wanted to expand this to be my business. I now make three different size Smudgies, originals , thins and deluxe. I later added dishcloths.
